Thanks so much for the love! It’s very easy for us, we just don’t get paid🤪. When we use the copyrighted music then the artists get most if not all of the streaming revenue. And that’s okay with us since we love supporting them. We’re one of the very few channels that are not doing this for the money. Anything we do make, we donate every year to a charity.

Wow. Sooooo cool. And the fact you don’t toot your own horn about this makes it even better. This is class, just quiet dignified class. Good on you!!!!!! It will make my next watch feel even better. BTW, are you planning the “French Polynesian” thing in the future that so many seem to graduate to from the Caribbean?

@geoffcooper1300 we are but we will probably be taking a year or two off and heading back to St. Pete due to some family issues. After that it may be the South Pacific or possibly The Med.

Oh we’re also going to be offering five day “How to be a Cruiser” classes when back in St Pete plus do some sunset cruises. I’ll (Jeff) need to do something productive when we’re back in FL for the year or two and it should be a lot of fun.

There were two awesome tracks. The first was from Damon Fowlers new album Barnyard Smile. The second was from Albert Castiglia’s album I Got Love. These are by far our two favorite Blues musicians.

Funny you should mention the Portsmouth whale. The day before we were in the same river and encountered the big guy while in our dingy. Check out the post on our FB or Instagram page svwindtherapy! Sorry we missed you though, we already came and went. But we spent an amazing month up there and we absolutely love New England.

We docked at Liberty Harbor which is across the channel from Liberty Landing in Jersey City. LH was half the cost of LL but still ridiculously expensive and a really crappy dock. Half broken down with broken cleats, etc. But all in all, it was in a fantastic location (better than LL) and we felt pretty safe.

Errrrr….its not going to happen for many years however we know of a few awesome friend’s Leopard 45’s that are up for sail now (all incredible boats). Let us know if you want more info

We started watching them from the beginning too when we found out they were from St. Pete. Been great friends ever since. Hey check out their BVI video, they spent the week with us in that video. It was an epic week. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!

It’s actually just a tune we grabbed from Epidemic sound which is the subscription service we use for some of our music. Most of our music of course is from artists who we end up paying royalties too when we use their music in our vids.

That happened to us the first time too a few years back. Scared the crap out of us! We had both engines at almost 3000rpms and were still only making 2-3 knots. Hey we hope you guys are doing well. 🥰

Thanks guys. We think the flight approach looked a bit sketchy and were glad we weren’t in the plane 😁. I think one mile or less gets a bit close when it takes those big ships 5 miles to stop. So when we’re out sailing we just have to keep a close eye just in case they change course towards us and we’re at a wind angle where it’s hard to adjust away from them. But of course we should still have enough time to react as opposed to flying! Hopefully that makes sense. You all going to be in Annapolis in Oct?

Yes! Our friend Glen was going to work on it in St. Pete so we took the mast down for the trip across the state. It was a great and certainly unique trip for us.

A lot! Like around 2400 watts. And its membrane is proprietary and quite expensive.

And the best part is that there are no animals on the island that want to kill and eat you 😁

We’re glad you liked the videos. We certainly had an amazing time! We actually spoke with the man from the last lock. He had just bought the boat and was trying to get it home. It was pretty ambitious. We were thinking he just needed a little practice first. 😁

@@SailingWindTherapy Wow, in that case that is pretty wild - luckily, although you have substantial boating knowledge, hirers often get typically about 30mins tuition and off they go with 10ton plus craft and do exactly the same thing! where we keep our boat, damage over recent years has become ridiculous in places! We do hope you come back - absolutely love your channel and travels - especially the silky-smooth commentary!

We’re going to spend the summer up in New England, Sep and Oct in the Chesapeake, and then make our way south along the US east coast (plus a bit of Bahamas) back to St. Pete. Our parents are a little sick and we want to spend a year or two with them plus missing the grand babies a lot. Then we’ll head back out. Thanks for the concern! 🥰

We got really lucky and it only took them a week. Somehow Herve convinced the victron dealer to move us up in priority because he told them we had to leave Sxm shortly. I can’t believe that worked but it did. 😊

@@SailingWindTherapy I was thinking of carrying a spare unit just in case it fails in the middle of nowhere. Pricy but they way my boat is wired, that is a very critical piece of equipment.

They have smaller units you can use as a spare for emergency too. Doesn’t do everything but enough for important b stuff. Also we could have bypassed the inverter for the water maker for example and run it directly off the generator. If a real emergency for water we could have done that (which we now know how to do quite easily) but we didn’t want to start mucking about with the inverter and then have Victron say we caused the board failure.

It’s our pleasure! We’re actually doing an overnight at this very moment up to Maine. We’re going to stop at Camden for a few days to celebrate Adrienne’s birthday and then we’re not sure which parts we’ll visit after that except for Bar Harbor for July 4th.

You’ve come at the perfect time. Summer has arrived! Not sure if you’ve been here before, but I’d recommend checking out Boothbay Harbor, as it’s close to Camden. If you head south, take in Ogunquit/Perkins Cove area. A beautiful walking town, with Marginal Way being a trail along the ocean, ending at the very small harbor with a bridge walk over the entrance.

@@markperkins5664 are you guys near Boothbay? We’re stopping there and Portland on our way south in August.

We live near the Kennebunkport, Wells/Ogunquit area. We go to Boothbay Harbor often though, as it’s one of our favorites.

We’ll let you know when we get closer to that part of Maine. Also follow us on Insta or FB in case we forget since our plans are always pretty fluid 😊. At the moment we’re 32 miles east of Portland

Ha, we just got lucky and hitched a ride with the owner of the restaurant over there who happened to be leaving and heard us groaning about the hike back 😁

Thanks, we absolutely love her. So about the WiFi/cell booster… we don’t use it at all anymore. Starlink made that system completely obsolete. We still have it in case of emergency though but it’s not even plugged in.
